Le Colonial is such an interesting restaurant. As you walk up to it in the alley you are immediately transported to another time and place. The courtyard seating is softly lit with overhead lanterns. Inside is more energetic. We were not able to visit the lounge due to a private party.... It sounded like a good time up there! We shared the pot stickers and pork skewers for appetizers, none were left. Entrees included the chicken soup filled with delicious goodies, garlic noodles, roasted pork, sea bass and a beef dish. All worthy dishes and nothing left to take home. If you have room left, definitely order dessert. The ice creams are so creamy and rich. Cheese cake too.

Union square is a must see spot. From shops to restaurants and hotels galore. You can catch a tour bus or chill in the square, its where everything is happening day or night. On the weekends there's live bands & space for dancing in the heart of the square. In the winter you can usually ice skate. It's also walking distance to China town!

Nice public park in the middle of Union Square district. There ”I left my heart” statues in each of the 4 entrances that welcomes you into multi-level park. There is a outdoor cafe, small patches of green grass, and benches scattered around the park to sit and enjoy. Dogs are welcomed. Flat surfaces make it #accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, and walkers. On top of the Union Street Parking Garage, it is a great meetup location because its right in the middle of everything. During the Holiday Season annually is also where the temporary ice skating rink is at.

We boarded the wooden trailer from Pier 39 to Union Square. Beautiful way in a beautiful, classic San Francisco trailer. We arrived at Union Square, had a wonderful suny day, sat in the cafe on the square. Fun to look at the square, and the passers-by. The heart of San Francisco. Around , all the famous stores and biggest brands and in the US. highly recommend!

This is San Francisco’s downtown area, and one of the most happening places in the city. Around the square there are a lot of department stores, boutiques, hotels and restaurants. Further down are theatres, shopping malls and cinemas. On the square is an amphitheater where there are performances in the evening. A good place to hang out, shop a bit, and eat. You can also catch a historical cable car from here to the Fisherman’s Wharf.
