Amazing! So much history stands before us! President Obama and so many others addressed our nation from there! Be prepared to climb all 58 steps to see this magnificent tribute to President Lincoln and two of his most famous addresses! View is breathtaking from the memorial. Gift shop is small but has excellent selection of materials; not touristy. Ladies who are in charge are personable and helpful!

I love this place because this place is full of history that you can actually see, touch and reminisce and imagine. This place is better then history books and a history class. You can actually walk right through your history. All the monuments are awesome. The land and location is clean and beautiful. If you never been you MUST go.

Impressive construction. Besides the historical significance, very clean, peaceful . Restrooms are located at ground level. Elevators available if you don't like stairs. Taking the stairs is not that bad. Colorful crowds all the time. Make time to read the walls!

Terrific views of DC await you at the top of the stairs! Once inside, Lincoln's presence fills the room. Quotes flank both sides of the seated president. Such a powerful place. Don't forget to look for the spot where MLK gave his speech. There are restrooms and a small museum under the memorial.

One place you must visit if you are in Washington DC. It's very busy but it's such a beautiful monument and place. Very nice still and the trees had all this very colorful leaves that made it even better. Take your time and enjoy the place, so much to learn and reflect on.
