The weather wasn't on our side.... If it were a clear day, I think it'd be beautiful. It's located in a quiet neighborhood on top of a steep hill. If you don't have a car, it'd be pretty difficult to get up there. You can see the majority of the city from the ledge and all the iconic tourist spots. There's a sculpture you can take a picture with/in and some binoculars to look through (but I think you have to pay). Not worth it if you go on an overcast/rainy day... There's not much to do other than enjoy the view. With Seattle weather, good luck finding a day that's completely sunny!
This park has an excellent overview of the cities and lake on clear days. I have wanted to go to see the view from Kerry Park for a while and was so excited I finally made it. Perfect place to get stunning photos of the Seattle skyline and natural scenery. Highly recommended for amazing views and pictures!
If you are wondering to go to Kerry park, it is must see place in Seattle. I would highly recommend to visit here. It is very close to Seattle Downtown around 15 min by car and you can see Mount Rainier, Space needle, Century link field, and other area. Perfect place to see beautiful city. I like both afternoon and evening. You can see from my pictures.
THE BEST VIEWS OF THE CITY FOR FREE!!!! We were so stunned by the amazing views at the top of this park, and the best part, you can drive right up to it. Perfect for people who don't have the ability to hike or walk far. There are benches, a view finder, and wonderful views!
Gotta love this view. Just be mindful that many others will be there to enjoy it and parking will be challenging if not timed just right. I went around 6:30pm just at dusk and waited for the city lights to come on so i could get pics at sunset and just after the dark had entered the scene of down town.
