This hidden gem is awesome. Looks like a scene from a pirate movie. The waterfall just adds to the already beautiful spot. The little hike from the parking spot to the lookout was nice to stretch the legs. The look out was partially closed of needing repair so it was more crowded then I liked, but still worth seeing.
Absolutely lovely natural park. We unfortunately could not hike to the waterfall since the trail is under construction. However we still got some breathtakingly views of the waterfall. Parking is bit tricky if you don't bring cash to pay for parking. The park charges a ten dollar fee which can be payed in cash only since they don't have a means to use accept electronic payments.
Absolutely beautiful. Come at sunset and take a few deep breaths. We came in early October and it wasn't crowded. Park on PCH just outside the gate and walk in or drive in and support your state parks.
A beautiful place to visit. Most will drive by as they journey along the PCH with the hopes of getting a great view from their car. I know I did. Then we decided to stop and explorer more of this beautiful place. Park along the highway and experience one of the parks trails. Some will take you from the highway down to the beach. Others will take you higher for a different perspective. Neither will not disappoint.
So many beautiful attractions lie within this park. The trails, waterfall, and more. So worth a stop or camping if that is your cup of tea. Glad we stretched down hwy 1 before stopping because this was a definite highlight.
