A bit of a wait but so worth it. My wife and I were here for vacation and were tired of seafood. Instead of a pizza we could have back home we wanted something different. Saw signs claiming this was the best (by Food Network) and I gotta say, they are right to toot their horn. We got the Don what a pie. In hindsight we should have added peppers and onions but still one of the best pizzas I’ve had outside of NY
Well, we saw all of the great reviews for Grimaldi’s Pizza, so we tried it when a couple days into our stay in Miramar Beach. We ordered the 18 inch Brooklyn Bridge Pizza with Pepperoni. I will say that the pizza was delicious. But, I’m not sure if it was worth the $29.00 price. We’re here on vacation for the week, so we don’t know what the normal prices for coal fired oven pizza is. In Cincinnati, the same pizza is around $21.00. So just know that you will get great pizza, but you will also know that you paid well for it.👍🏼
We had such a terrible experience last year, that this time, we called in our take out order at 3:00 to be picked up at 6:30. Best idea ever! It was ready and tasty. We shared a spinach salad and a mushroom, black olive and red onion pizza. Next time, I'll ask for extra sauce. If you want pizza, call ahead and get it to go. Worth it that way!!!
Absolutely delectable! The crust has that brick oven taste and crispness with a slight sweetness that compliments their tomato sauce perfectly. The sauce is a little less sweet than usual and packed with umami. The cheese and toppings are fresh and provide all the depth of flavor you could ask for. Some of the best pizza I have ever had. I recommend the ricotta it is great!
Service was very good, we sat at the bar. Enjoyed the local draft options. Pizza was good. FYI, they don't have ranch - this did not affect the # of ⭐s, just thought readers should know in case they want to bring their own because my husband ALWAYS eats his pizza with ranch & we totally would have had we known 😁
