I love this bookstore. It's not just the location, staff pick's wall or the positive vibe constantly going on in the store. There's something else that I can't quite put my finger on. Stop in, look around, find a book to read and let me know what you thought about your experience. Reading, after all, is always a good pastime.

My favorite bookstore in the city; I’m lucky it’s also my local one! This store has all the great books, cozy atmosphere, and awesome events. And, if they don’t have what you’re looking for, just ask one of their super helpful staff to order your book for you! Ditch amazon and go hangout at Greenlight instead.

This book store is amazing! It's got an absolutely fantastic kids section, and a great, well curated selection of books for grown-ups. My thing is history, philosophy, and politics, and although the sections for these weren't large, they were bursting with fascinating new books I hadn't heard of yet. It took a lot of self control not to walk out with a tall pile. It seems to me that any literate New Yorker would find a ton of interesting things to read here. They also have events which look interesting, though I haven't attended one yet.

Excellent bookstore. A good vibe. They have a large selection of both popular books and more obscure titles. Best of all is the staff. Extremely helpful and courteous. If a book is ever not in stock, they'll go out of their way to place an order for you. I think that's pretty great.
