Beautiful forest, very quiet. Well maintained trails. The QR code maps on the signs returned an invalid website, so that needs to be fixed. A great place to take a stroll
If you want a peaceful walk in nature this is the place to be, long walks through nice forest trails. You do start out near the road but the further back you go the more quiet it becomes.
Awesome forest, but it’s a bit sketchy. A lot of the trees have been scratched by bears and there’s a ton of snakes. We didn’t stay long because we got a little scared, but if you’re into nature and not deadly terrified of snakes like myself this is your place!
Wonderful walk through the woods. Clean and well kept trails.
We had a great time on this gentle hike through the beautiful forests of Bainbridge Island! The trail is well kept, there are good signs all through the trail, all of our fellow hikers were friendly and cheerful. There is about 10 parking spaces and no bathroom so be sure to go before you go (lol!)! Dogs are allowed om this trail, we did find a bag of poo on our way out though which was not cool. We took it out and threw it away when we got home. Its also a great hike for kids because its not difficult, there is no incline hardly at all. Some gentle hills but thats about it. If you take the skinny loop left first there is a picnic table and a nice little bridge. Also there is no water here so we were able to hike without my kiddo demanding to explore the water. We will definitely be going back, an instant favorite! #MilitaryWild #MilitarywildWA #AutismFam #PawsForHadrian #WildSchooling #Unschooling
