This place had a nice atmosphere and enjoyable service. Our food was also fairly enjoyable, though nothing to shout about. My husband did enjoy his hamburger and my brother-in-law said his seafood mac and cheese was phenomenal. I had the cheddar chicken sandwich, and I did also enjoy my choice, however there wasn't enough flavor to make it remarkable. I had to add mustard, which was a strange thing to add. They do have very good french fries, both in flavor and texture.

Visited yesterday for lunch around 12:54. We ordered clam chowder , pasta and the special" prime rib sandwich". The soup was good, then the WAIT began. We WAITED and WAITED and WAITED. Did I mention the WAIT! At least, we were entertained while we WAITED!! We were entertained by people watching, as in, other people getting there food before us. Customers that were seated after us, received there meals as we yearned for our meals. We finally got our food an hour and Twenty minutes after we ordered. Wow the food, not good. Prime rib was very fatty and the bread was plain with no dressing on it. It looked like it was thrown together with whatever was laying on the counter. My daughter's pasta was crunchy but, it did have some unexpected protein" giant black ant". Don't go there.

This service was friendly and helpful, no complaints about the staff whatsoever. Be aware when you come here that you are paying the tourist tax in a big way. Almost $4 for a fountain drink out of a plastic cup, and virtually nothing on the menu was under $14 dollars. This would have been fine if the food were anything exemplary, but it was all pretty bland and unseasoned, and mediocre portions as well. Could easily skip this one unless you're dying to eat, in which case it's at least not bad.

Had dinner here twice. Food and service were good. Seafood was cooked correctly and hot. House wines are good. We drank a lot of it too.

Excellent service. Cuisine is above average, but not worth the 30-dollar plus per-plate-price average. I recognize we're on Bainbridge Island, and on the water, but the food needs a little more attention to detail in presentation, and adherence to fresh preparation, instead of receiving the heat lamp treatment as much as it tends to.
