Hotel — Restaurant — Healthy — Good energy Green Tiger is more than a hotel. Chiang Mai is awesome, and Green Tiger makes it even better. The location is great, near coffee, restaurants, and the Three Kings Plaza and the Sunday Market. It is located in an artsy neighborhood of the Old City. The lobby restaurant, Reform Kafé, has the most delicious plant-based food and amazing soy cappuccino. The rooms are Thai decor with comfortable beds, and very clean. The staff is welcoming. This is the perfect property for those who value health, wholesome food, and neighborhood vibe of the Old City. After a couple weeks here, I always leave feeling rejuvenated and nourished in body and soul. Even the house pets are great, Coco, Hero, and Mango. Green Tiger is the first Green Key certified hotel in Thailand for being environmentally responsible.
First, the vibe there is great! Staff very engaging in the best possible way. Had a delicious mango smoothie. I plan to stay on my next visit; unfortunately, when I attempted to book they were full. Plan ahead and don't wait to the last minute. Thankfully, the restaurant is open to the public.
Can I give more than 5 stars? Can't say enough about this hotel. Stayed there for just 2 nights and had a wonderful time. Right from the vegan food, to the quaint decor and most importantly the warmness of the people there, everything was just perfect. This will be the place to stay for us for any more visits to Chiang Mai. Highly recommended!
Clean hotel but very basic in terms of accommodation. No frills here at all. Dated decor and not a place you would want to relax. Room was up 3 flights of stairs. We aren't vegans that's on us, but it has to be said that the breakfast was good and a much nicer experience than the rest the hotel offers.
Highly recommend Green Tiger House. Good food, great staff, lovely setting. Quiet location but still close to all attractions Chiang Mai has to offer. Decor in the rooms and the restaurant is understated elegance with a tropical feel. Beds and pillows are comfortable. And spotlessly clean! The 2 resident house cats offer entertainment and a homely feeling. The Vegetarian Menu is exceptional, my only wish is if they offered gluten free pancakes for those of us that are wheat intolerant.
