Great dinner experience, it was the first time in a Fado house for us and we really enjoyed the experience. On the food side, quality is good but I found it a bit expensive, especially considering you pay separately for the artists performance. You can definitely find better quality food at cheaper prices in Lisbon. I don't see it as a tourists trap, that's one of those places that you choose if you wanna experience a dinner with authentic local music. The artists were awesome! Service was a bit slow but still very friendly.

Last night wehave been in other restaurant with 1 star Michelin which was good, but believe me: Sr. Vinho is just better! Real portugese experience with delicious food.

Food is average at best. Fado is good. Price are very high (around 30 Euro for main dish, 10 Euro for dessert).

Went to this restaurant last night for dinner and my first Fado house experience and everything was excellent. The wait staff was fantastic, the food was excellent and the Fado performers were top notch. Highly recommend! Our experience doesn't match the bad reviews below, there were at least several entree selections for under 20 euros plus a good selection of app's for even less. Very good selection of drinks. And it didn't feel at all like a tourist trap, on the contrary the atmosphere felt authentic and sincere.
