Very good supermarket, everything we needed for our holiday in portugal, very recommended, some cashiers do speak english

Always very crowded. Might be difficult to navigate for people with disabilities on high traffic hours due to narrow corridors between aisles. Good prices like any Pingo Doce. Very good produce, awesome meat and bread. Not so good fish.

Not a bad supermarket. Some of the staff are helpful and friendly. The service at the coffee shop ( cafe e bolos) however, is very poor. Today at around 11.45 I went to the counter to get served. There were 2 assistants. One was chatting to a friend and the other was at the till. Most tables were empty. I waited about 5 mins, I did not want to interrupt. The chat ended & the assistant turned her back completely ignoring me. By this time the other assistant had finished on the till, and both embarked on a chit chat. After a few mins I gave up waiting & we both ( my husband and I) left without a coffee and a cake. Went to Intermarche, much nicer and efficient staff.

One if the best supermarkets in the area. Fruit and vegetables always fresh and petrol cheapest place around.
