We had an amazing dinner at this place. We opted for the full wine and food menu where they bring you enough food and wine until you want to literally explode. All the food and deserts were fantastic. The music was great to listen to. The staff was extremely nice and went above and beyond. Everyone spoke English and I was able to make a reservation via email. 5 stars for sure.

Just perfect. The meat was heavenly cooked and the codfish was tasty. Big portions and good music. The waiter had great suggestions as for which wine to choose with our meal and which dessert combinations would be complementary to share. You might see reviews complaining about the price but really. For dinner and concert night, it's fair and 100% worth it.

Wow! What a restaurant, it must be on your list for a traditional experience of Portugal. We were two plates in when a three course guitar troupe came in and then a beautifully dressed lady who sang for us whilst dining. Incredible. Oh and the food is just like your grandma cooked. Enjoy!

Had a wonderful night at O Fado last night! The owner was so sweet and you could tell how proud he was of his restaurant and the fado performers. The food was delicious and the singers were extremely talented. A must do in Porto!

We ended up in this place by chance. On of our plans was to hear Fado at some point in our trip so we stayed. Luckily there was an empty table for us. We order 2 beers, 1 bottle of wine, Octopus as starter and Bacalao as main dish. Food was really really good. The spectacle was just wonderfull, magical. It really made us feel as we were travelling trhough years and years of Portuguese history. Sounds about the sea, love and proud nationalism were sung. The only problem I can tell about this restaurant is that as they don’t charge for the spectacle, things are overpriced so you don’t really know how much are you paying for the food and how much for the drinks. For example, the 220ml beer was 5 euros. The bottle of wine was 22 while in reality, it only costs 9, the main dish was 25. This is not to say it was expensive as the show it was worth of it but you don’t really know what you are paying for. Having said this, I recommend this play 100%.
