Av. Brasília, 1300-598 Lisboa, Portugal
A very interesting building on an undeniably beautiful location overlooking the Tagus. Worth a visit just to admire the views and walk along the shoreline paths. Easy access across the N6 to bus stops. Be aware that the gallery is closed on Tuesdays.
The architecture of the building is absolutely fantastic and mesmerizing. The museum itself is also definitely worth a visit. If you have time also go on the rooftop and enjoy the amazing view over the rivir and bridge.
Unfortunately one of the galleries was closed when we visited - that said still well Roth a visit. The ticket provided entrance to both the main MAAT gallery and the power station museum which was very interesting and informative. The view from the roof is amazing.
We did not get in the museum. We just walked along the river taking photos of that amazingly beautiful building and we decided then to stay and watch the sunset. The experience is unbeatable. What a great sunset, what an amazing view!! Totally recommended!
An amazing view of beautiful Lisbon. And the added of walking down the street and enjoy the traditional Pastel da Belem. This is an example of how much Portugal is growing and becoming a must destination for all those looking for a mix of old and modern...
