Our family of 4 fully enjoyed our nature kayak tour just this morning. Everything was perfect. Miguel our guide, who grew up in the area, is very knowledgeable and shared interesting facts and history of the area. He showed us native flora/fauna and how to scout for living creatures in the lagoon. Miguel was also very patient in answering all our questions and gave special tips on safety measures when living near the coastline. Last but not least, we want to thank Miguel who held the best interest for his clients over commercial gain. We had originally booked our tour for 3 days ago, but the weather was not perfect and Miguel recommended for us to reschedule for the best experience, and of course he was proven right :) We look forward to joining other tours with Intertidal in the future!

We were very happy with the boat-tour! Very friendy and easygoing stuff with a very comfortable boat. Also possible to out biscyles on the boat if you are planning a tour!

Miguel is a magnificent host and boat captain. He is a native of Foz and has a degree in oceanography. He can add a tremendous depth of knowledge to any question you may have about the Óbidos Lagoon and it’s history. He’s also a very fun and gracious person. I enjoyed my boat trip immensely.

My contact with Miguel was somewhat unusual, but it says a lot about the quality of the service and the good person he is. I was kite-surfing when the wind stopped. The kite was the water and I lost the board. I spent 40 minutes fighting the current, but in the absence of wind I was dragged by it. No one came to help until Miguel approached with his boat. Not only did he rescue me, but he also helped me look for the lost board by the lagoon. Light, humorous and friendly, he his father, not only helped me but also brightened my day. Nice to meet you. For the person he is, I'm sure Intertidal is fantastic. The boat I did know and is impeccable. I hope to return soon for a tour.
