One of Lisbon's popular-historical transportation! If you don't want to ride the elevador for around 3€, there's a stairway on the left side of the entrance and from there you can see it coming up and down. Taking pictures is a plus! Just wait for it to be in the middle of a street and post in the middle as well (does that make sense =D)

You don't have to pay for it separately if you have the transport card. These are some of the very few funicular railway systems in the world. I have always found funicular railway systems fascinating, and so, it was a great experience for me to ride one. But even if you don't know what funiculars are, it's a great way to get up the hill without having to walk all the way up.

Legendary Bica Funicular in Lisbon! Not sure if it worth is to ride on it, cost 3.8€ return, but it 5 min walk, make some pictures on the last stop is fine! The machinist wont be against for sure. There are two cars yellow and full of graffiti. The shift is happening every 15 minutes. So you easily can wait another car or catch it in the middle of rout.

One of the best experiences in all of Lisbon. Make sure that you purchase one of the unlimited 24 hour transit passes, as this is included.
