By far the worst train service in any "developed nation". Delays are not a daily occurrence but an hourly one. The absence of repeated deaths and injury due to maintenance neglect is nothing short of a miracle. Trains are falling apart, rail related malfunctions impair commutes constantly, workers hide from angry passengers and when asked are insulting and defensive and the stations are drowning in pickpockets, vermin and piss. An unfortunately inescapable service that all abhor and would avoid if ANY alternatives were available. Overpriced if only because spending a single cent on a commute trip is excessive for the service provided. Management deliberately cripples the service in an attempt to jack up prices or privatise what is essentially a monopoly. No entity in the nation is as poorly rated or cares as little for it's users as CP.

Really bad service, the 2nd class has "better" conditions and perks than the 1st. Dirty seats and floor. Old and stinky trains.

Lisbon has 4th world public transportation and CP doesn't get behind. In Brussels there's trains from 10 to 10 min to Amsterdam. In Lisbon you'll have to wait 30 min just to go to the suburbs. This is why all Portuguese drive cars.

Worst support form employees. Had to divide my family in different trains cause they lied about vacancy seats towards our destination. We checked it online and their Client Support Department didn't do anything about it.

Só o facto de haver atrasos constantes sem justificação, nem pedido de desculpas, nada demonstra uma total falta de preocupação com os passageiros.
