Castle wall walk is amazing. Best park car free in the new town area and 10 min is all it takes. Garden is a nice break from heat and the wall walk gives panoramic views to the town and surrounding greens and hills. Inside castle is the convent of Christ.

Amazing! This is a huge castle. Take time to walk round gardens and castle. Definitely worth a visit. Knights Templar stronghold....fascinating history.

Really nice castle, you can really feel the ages. Main attraction though is the convent. Feel that they could develop the visit to the castle a bit more. Now it is foremost an literally the entry to the Convento do Christo.
