A peaceful retreat and historical gem in an otherwise charmless commercial district with big-brand stores. It's small, and because it's a private residential area it's not a place you can really hang out. But a few pathways and the secret chapel welcome the public.
Lovely place and we were lucky enough to have sunshine for our visit. GPS not much help getting here because of the narrow streets but a lovely wander
Nice famous well preserved part of the city. Small chapel too and a practicing church there too. The place oozes with history. Lots of photo ops too. Worth seeking out and worth an hour.
So much history in this little space, was a privilege to visit alone in my own thoughts though it was a bit too noisy with too many tour groups. Quiet, non-guided visits would be better. 😊
Even though we’ve actually stumbled upon this place by accident while riding our bikes, I have to recommend visiting. It’s a super cool looking place with lot of history behind it.
