Half-Day Snorkeling Adventure In Puerto Morelos

Be ready to go in your Cancun or Riviera Maya's hotel lobby at 7am, then get picked up for a 35-minute drive to Punta Tanchacte, in Bahía Petempich. Upon arrival, greet your snorkeling guides and receive a safety briefing (and a light breakfast buffet) before you head to the Puerto Morelos Reef National Park by boat.
Your first stop is at a deep-water section of the park. Alongside your guide, admire the beauty of the reef and its inhabitants as you paddle through the crystal-clear Caribbean waters. Using the provided gear, spend 45 minutes snorkeling with schools of tropical fish.
Next, head to a shallower section of the reef. Hop in the water and explore the area for 45 minutes, comparing beautiful corals and other marine life to what you saw before. Stay refreshed with bottled water, beer, and soft drinks on the boat.
After the two snorkeling sessions, relax at a beach club. Make use of amenities like thatched shade umbrellas on the beach, hammocks, changing rooms, showers, bathrooms, lockers, a volleyball court, a souvenir shop where you can purchase photos of your snorkeling adventure, and two bars. Enjoy a shower and change your clothes, purchase a bite to eat, or just relax in a hammock until it's time to return to your hotel.
The tour concludes around 1pm when you are dropped back off at your Cancun or Riviera Maya hotel.
