Suffolk St, Dublin 2, D02 KX03, Ireland
Really worth stopping by to see this, it's in a very popular area full of bars and restaurants, much nicer than the temple bar area. It's rather a novelty when you discover why certain parts of the statue have been polished by the tourists and passer by's having their photo taken with her. Half the fun watching everyone posing with her. Once you've seen this head up Grafton Street towards St Stevens Green. Please like my review if you found it helpful. Thanks
It’s kind of a famous node in the area and popular meeting place. There is always some street singer around the area and it’s a very lively place indeed. Temple bar area is very close if you want to grab a drink. You can sit here the whole day and won’t feel bored at all. For all the tourism buses for a day long tour, this is the place to meet up in the morning. The statue itself is glorious and the backdrop of it is also beautiful.
It is a nice model of Molly Malone made of wood and metal. You can also go and have a little sit down on the little stone foundation with metal plaques telling you information about her. There is also a plaque with a scanner barcode so that you can hear all about her life.
Eh. So we went here to wait for our tour guide it seems to be a common spot for this purpose. A lot of drunks around made me feel kind of u comfortable. I am just weird about that sort of thing though don't like looking at people in a bad condition while trying to enjoy my holiday.
In Dublin fair city where girls are so pretty I first fell in love with sweet Molly Malone. She sits in front of a church wheeling her wheelbarrow. A wonderful icon of Dublin. Worth a visit.
