A beautiful and lovely landmark in this middle aged town. You can visit the gardens for free, and the fountain there is iconic. Don't forget to have a french crepe just in the shop in the opposite side of the street of the main door.

The interior of this castle is quite nice even thought it lacks a real highlight in my opinion. But other then that it's a nice castle with some nice furniture inside. If you have the time and opportunity it's well worth a visit.

Truly beautiful and exquisitely restored castle. Ongoing excavations promise future improvements. The glaring lack is there is no book of professional photos of the rooms juxtaposed with photos of original furnishings and including historical details in text and captions. I would certainly have bought one and have done so at German and British castles in the past. Somebody make this book!

I had a medical emergency during my tour of the castle and the staff were absolutely outstanding in helping me and my daughter get to the local hospital. Up until then the castle itself was great. I hope to return one day to complete the tour.

Great castle to see inside. I didn't bother doing a guided tour and thought it was great! The exhibits are well done and you can take pictures of everything. Worth going inside. The castle also doesn't take long to see. I was able to complete it in a half hour but you can always take longer If you want to read all of the information.
