It's a nice sandy beach that's not too busy. At high tide you have the part with sun loungers and parasols (available to rent) sloping pretty steeply down to the water. The beach is quite flat further out though so at low tide there's a big shallow area and a bit of a lagoon. By the car park are a few little shops and food stalls and the people renting sun loungers also sell cold beer, so all your basic needs for a day on the beach can be met. When we were there (August) there were some big waves out past the shallows but nothing worrying close in.
Amazing beach. The entry in will take your breath away. Quite rocky on beach and in water but the quality and clearness of the ocean is unbelievable. Not as popular as other beaches in the area so plenty of room to spread out. Plus you can stop and feed monkeys on the way. Great for kids at low tide. Lots of little pools around to splash in for them. A must really.
Fab location, a must visit. Tidal waves can be tricky. You have to be careful. Sunday's Beach club a must visit. Food the best we have had, and catering for children fantastic One of the best places I have visited.
Melsti beach is super nice, but the waves are usually too strong for swimming safely. There are few shops and food places nearby and at the far west of the beach, you can chill and rent out umbrellas, but that part of the beach gets very busy. It is definitely a nice beach and well worth a visit.
Visit with family on Wednesday, it seem require hard working and big job to see this beach at current time!!! Clean and tidy beach with clean shower facility!!! Cool beach water may be because of winter down there in the south. Great job of Ungasan People and Badung Regency.....!!!👍👍👍👏👏👏
