A beautiful beach to hang out and watch the waves come in. It's a location used by newly weds for wedding pictures, with the beautiful cliff and seashore scenery as background. Parking is easy and the beach is usually quite empty. Water is shallow and the wave break out at see, so you can swim in the sea. There are a couple of small bars / restaurants which are really enjoyable. Absolute must to check out if you want a relaxing afternoon.

A couple years ago Melasti was one of the raw beaches but now the locals have decided to make it commercial and made a lot of developments around the area. It's still good by the way. This place now is more like a pre wedding place because you can find plenty of photo spots. There's a couple cafes, some food stalls and there's a beach club too. It really depends on how people see it. Some like the entertainment but some prefer empty relaxing beach. You choose which one are you.

Great beach that is not crowded and filled with nice views. Recommended for those that love lesser crowd and peacefulness. The sand can be a bit coarse and painful to walk though. But nice sunset spot. Definitely a hidden gem!

One of the cleanest. No fish if you want to snorkel. No sharp stones and there's a combination of sand and 1foot high rock plates that you can easily walk on barefoot as most is covered in small green seaweed. Kids loved it. There's guy called Uncle Santa (at the sae place) who rents out a 2-man canoe for 100k for an hour. Don't go to close to the big waves. The current can get very strong and pushes you to the right of the beach so watch your kids. Melasti beach is one of the good beach, it has white sands and quite big beach, spend the time and sun bathing also recommend

It's a nice sandy beach that's not too busy. At high tide you have the part with sun loungers and parasols (available to rent) sloping pretty steeply down to the water. The beach is quite flat further out though so at low tide there's a big shallow area and a bit of a lagoon. By the car park are a few little shops and food stalls and the people renting sun loungers also sell cold beer, so all your basic needs for a day on the beach can be met. When we were there (August) there were some big waves out past the shallows but nothing worrying close in.
