This place is absolutely stunning. It is so much better than the photos show! We didn't go down to the beach, just looked from the view point. We saw 4 manta rays from up there in the clear and bright blue ocean! Breathtaking! There's a great toasted cheese sandwich and ice coffee pop up shop up the top too! The reason for the missing star is the crowds, not because there's lots of people (not great but hey, with a view like this of course there will be people), but more for the lack of space and safety. The bamboo railings are flimsy and low, and that's the only thing stopping you from falling - lots of people shoving around trying to get photos makes it quite an unpleasant experience. At certain points the railing is removed all together and people are dangling their legs of the edge of this sheer cliff drop, trying to stand back up again with people standing really close waiting to get into the spot. It's only going to get busier, so BE CAREFUL when you are taking photos. Would definitely recommend - bit awkward to get there, would suggest hiring a driver. Those roads are not good at all, we saw lots of people struggling with mopeds (mostly the driver going up the almost unmade hill with the passenger having to walk along after them). The car handles the dusty road craters much better.

Flip-flops stay clear! Wear proper shoes for this one, as you should probably do for most Nusa Penida tracks. Super cool beach with beautiful perfect sand. If you are able to get down. The railing has been upgraded which is good. You can still see the old one behind and I would never go down with just that for support. This is a hard climb some parts of the way. Up is easier so if you are comfortable on the way down you should be good. The reward at the end is a perfect beach with probably few other people there! You can jump in for a swim even with quite big waves as long as you get out past where they crumble. Shouldn't be dangerous as the bottom is all soft perfect sand, but only if you are a decent swimmer and comfortable with the waves.

I can't say more. This place is absolutely stunning. A mission to ride your scooter here. But trust me this is absolutely worth it. Unbelievable views, make sure you have enough time to hike down to the beach, that's even better. After a hard hike, what better to do than reward yourself with a lovely swim in the ocean. Best experience yet

You have an amazing view from above where you can take a lot of good photos. But there are a lot of daily tour tourists so better go a little bit away from them if you have time. If you go down to the beach bring good shoes because the way down and up again you need to climb. But once you arrived down at the beach its amazing. The waves are too big so you cant swim but its quite funny.
