Marari Beach Thopumppady - cherthala, SH40, Alappuzha, Kerala 688523, India
Neat and Clean Beach little away from Alleppey. Sun shed was available on hire. Parking is available free of cost outside. Few local food stall for water and cold drink is also available. It is good spend time early morning or evening here due to sun heat.
This beach will tell you how beautiful a place can be if its kept clean and less intruded. The beauty here is surreal and exotic. Very less commercialized , directly connected to the road and pristine all around. As its told every beautiful things has its own side, this beach is dangerous as well. You can't go inside and have fun there. You have to be careful with waves. Surrounding are cocunut trees. This beach has a fine white sand. Some small outlets will be there for your refreshments. Overall for beauty, cleanliness and peaceful environment i will give it 5 out of 5. You can anytime sit and relax for hours here. Highly recommend.
Nice beach to walk... I visited during first week of September with lots of rain going on... The sea seemed a bit rough and a board not advising swimming was also seen... So didn't venture into the sea.... A few of sea side hut-type hotels were seen, though being early morning didn't see any of them functional. Evenings may be good time to visit enjoying the sunset and may have some sea food or a beverage you enjoy in the ambience
Clean and nice beach. It is less explored ones and you won't find much people on the beach. The only trouble is to reach the beach -it is 15 km from the Alleppey city and the auto rickshaw will charge you two way that is almost rs 500/600. The last public bus available for this area is at 7. The best option is to visit the beach in early evening and leave the place till 7
Good place to visit for sunset... A place to visit with family to enjoy Water is more clear and more space to move around Good shops to enjoy your visit... Need more public washroom and changing room with good facility...
