Large and well-stocked, no-frills discount supermarket located just off of the main road/Route 1 and therefore very easy to reach. There are enough parking spaces in front of the shop. In addition to fresh fruit and vegetables, you can also buy frozen goods, drinks, fresh meat and fish as well as dairy products and household goods here. Good selection of vegetarian/vegan and gluten free products. The prices are moderate by Icelandic standards; we only found cheese and dairy products to be a bit more expensive. The home brand cinnamon rolls are particularly delicious (look for Bónus Nýbakað)!

A bit more of a basic / discount supermarket. Still, a very good range of foods.

Good and Cheap. Highly Recommend going to Costco before you leave Reykjavik but this is a great re-stocking. Food is super pricey in Iceland so hit the local markets when you can if you prefer to save money.

Quite large grocery supermarket, wide selection of food for a reasonable price.
