Budapest, Hősök tere, 1146 Hungary
The Hero’s Square is in the heart of Budapest and is really a magnificent place and a must-see spot that you should not miss during your stay in Budapest. It's very easy to reach. This is a lovely square right in the middle of the city. As the name suggests it is several monuments and statues to the heroes of Hungary. There's a nearby museum and a huge park, lake and castle nearby. It's definitely worth a visit.
Impressive square with all the ancient Great Kings. The adjacent park has more to offer, including peace and quiet (once you get beyond the tourist crowd by the ancient castle, which you should not miss). I found a chair by a pond and enjoyed reading a book.
Whenever you plan your tourism daily activities, think about synergy among attractions. The Heroes’ Square in Budapest is a great example. Not only you can visit this important monument, but also you could weave in a visit to other nearby attractions like museums around the area. Just go back to Google Maps and hit Explore and then Attractions. You will find so many!
Had a great time visiting this place. The sculptures are nicely made and in perfect condition. I really like the name of the place as Heroes. Looking at the sculptures while thinking of them as factual heroes of the country had a nice feel to it. I went nearby to the park soaked my feet in the ponds water, which added to my experience. I a hot Spain summer, water anywhere is amazing 😅
Beautiful tourist attraction in the heart of Budapest. One of the many excellent features of Budapest. This is a lovely square right in the middle of the city. As the name suggests it is several monuments and statues to the heroes of Hungary. Excellent statues, beautifully sculpted and towering over the capital. There are some beautiful buildings and features nearby which make it well worth the trip;a museum and gallery as well as the grounds of a castle. Budapest has to be one of the world's most lovely and worthwhile destinations to visit
