Irene's has become more popular with tourists over the years. This is not a bad thing for them as a business, but the "local taverna" feel is lost a little. The food however, was excellent.

Busy, happy, family run taverna with indoor and verandah seating. Inexpensive. Large car park. The owner and waiters are very friendly and welcoming. The food quality is good but they do, sometimes, run out of menu items.

We had an amazing lunch at Taverna Irene, food was delicious and a very friendly service. Prices are more than reasonable. Amazing house vine.

Fast, efficient, and generous proportions! Very busy but quick service. Kids loved the micro magnums!

A great local tavern with good food in big portions, well priced and accompanied with amazing staff and service. Love this spot. We were stationed in Stavros and ate here multiple times, food was always on point.
