Beautiful historic building. It was nice to be able to get to the top and walk around the dome. We reserved in advance and did. It have to wait too long to get in. A quick, airport-style security check and we were in. We were given audio guides once inside and as you walk through the dome the narration is automatic. Very nicely done. Did I mention that this is free! A must when in Berlin.

The rich history behind this building was stunning. Walking up the dome and having an audio tour detailing the history of this place and the sites you can see from up top was truly and unforgettable experience. This place is free to visit, but you gotta schedule ahead of time. Take your passport over to the tour office and they'll give you a letter with your tour time welcoming you. Absolutely a must when visiting Germany.

I recommend visiting at night. The views of the city were beyond compare to any other place we visited during our trip. We weren't able to book online ahead of time. On Friday, we visited the ticketing booth and were able to see what tickets were available and at what time. There were many tickets available for the weekend so we went Saturday evening.

Amazing view of the city! Orientate yourself from above. Free audio program provides info on surrounding sights. The domes' architecture is impressive. We booked a month ahead for our appointment spot. BONUS: no charge for the washrooms unlike many other public restrooms in Germany 😃

This place is a must to visit in Berlin. You should buy a ticket online quite early, otherwise, you may miss getting an opportunity to enter at your convenient time. I would personally recommend to go somewhere around 4.30-5.00 i.e. somewhere in between a bit of sun light and sunset. The dome takes an amazing figure as the lights turned on. And, ya, as far as I remember, the audio guide is free to use. So check it out too.
