Tempelhofer Damm, 12101 Berlin, Germany
Great field, was once an airport. The toilets are covered, wall to floor in poo. But great place to cycle around
Building wasn't open the day we went but there are 2 art exhibits that would be fun to see, as well as getting access to the building if you go on the right day. It was a Tuesday but even so there were a variety of people taking advantage of the long runways to bike, or try out scooters both were available for rent. A great place to fly kites
One of my favourite park in Berlin. It is the former Berlin Tempelhof Airport. You can walk/run/skate/ride a bike on the two former runways and taxiways, or simply chilling riding a book. Very nice sunsets from here.
A place to enjoy, grill, let your dog run (in 4 dedicated areas!!!), relax, train but especially a place to preserve: the intact and ever changing soul of Berlin. Wind, sky and crazy openness.
A lovely park with a beautiful terminal building surrounding it. I would recommend the park every time. Just for a nice stroll or sitting in the sun. It can be very busy at all times especially when the sun is out. However, there is sufficient space for everybody. If you want you can go rollerskating or kiting here. A lot of people us it for their exercise. The park has sufficient signs to find you way around, but the long stretches of runway make it very easy to navigate. The whole park has signs that explain the history of the park and the airport as well. Must visit!
