Spectacular view of Prague city. The tower has an elevator. I got to know this after climbing 130 steps of stairs🤪. It can be chilly up there depending on the weather. When you come down enjoy hot chocolate... it was the most amazing cup I had in Prague!

Absolutely stunning view over the city and the fall colors really compliment the view. The roughly 50% extra charge for the elevator is a bit much, the stairs aren't all that many and there're benches to sit along the way. It can be a bit crowded at the top but today was pretty decent. People are relaxed and will give everybody a chance to take pictures.

One of the best places in Prague. The cable car was not operational. So I walked, which was a very nice one. Since the weather was very good, enjoyed every bit of walking. Filled with lush green trees, some of whose leaves have turned golden. The tower itself is very tall, the price is 150 czk for a single person without lift. There are two decks and you go up/down in circular stairs. The first deck has a balcony in the open air to enjoy. The second one has glass windows, some of which were open. Breathtaking views of Prague city. A must visit place, way better than the crowded Charles bridge.

Good spot to get a great view over the city from the western riverbank. Pretty cheap entry fee. You can hump it up the stairs or ride the lift for a few more pence. Note though that on the way down they turf you out on a lower platform, and you have to walk down the stairs to the ground. Bit odd. The viewing platform at the top is fairly small and has windows that can be opened in good weather to get clear photos. The tower is based on the Eiffel Tower by all accounts.

The hike to get to the tower wasn't the most fun to do. There are a lot of steps to reach the base of the tower. Same thing to get to the bottom of the hill. It was quite steep and not paved nicely where the left and right side would have different levels. The normal price of the tower at the time was 150 (approximately 6 euros) but there is a students discount if you have your card with you. The student ticket costs 80 (approximately 3.5 euros). The lift is for 60 (2.5 euros). I would advise to take the stairs since it wasn't really that high and there are resting benches on the way. The climb consists of 2 main floors. The first floor is unobstructed with no glass shielding. The view is pretty good and you can take great photos there. The second floor (top of the tower) has a glass shielding so the photos won't be good. At the time of the visit the top floor was so crowded with a lot of people that I just took a quick glimpse of the view and went down. The reason of a 3 out of 5 stars is because of the uneven terrain and the very hard climb and descend, and because of how crowded it gets at the top with very little room to take any photos and due to the obstructed view. I would still recommend to take photos on the first floor.
