Discover the colonial town of Nemocón and its salt mine located 65km from Bogotá.
Starting time is at 8:00 a.m. at your accommodation in Bogotá. During our drive to Nemocón, take a chance to soak up the local landscapes, which tend to be absolutely stunning.
Getting there, we leave you with a bilingual guide who will take you through the tunnels of the Salt Mine. Experience what is to be a salt-miner, descend 60 meters underground and learn about the history of salt and the ways to extract it.
See the heart of Colombia, marvel at the mirrors of brine with its stunning optical effects, and take a look at the movie set for "Los 33", the movie about the famously-trapped Chilean miners.
