If you would like a place for just walk with your dog, or even, a beautiful beach do snorkel... no, you would like to have some nice pictures... for any of theses ideas spit is the one! It’s a gorgeous place, best one for families and pets, and you can have some amazing photos!!

It seems rather odd that there are no public transportation options. The one thing that has impressed me as a tourist to the Gold Coast is connectivity has hardly been a problem with all beaches and landmarks accessible by either the tram or buses. Surprisingly though to visit the Spit, there isn’t any buses or public transportation and have been advised to walk 50 minutes. Would really be awesome if it is made more accessible to tourist who don’t have a car to drive around. Thanks

It was a good experience. Me and my wife went to the place early in the morning to see sunrise. This place was only 5 minutes drive from where we were staying, sea world resort. It’s a popular place to capture sunrise or sunset moment as there were plenty of people early morning. Clean and well maintained beach.
