The pylon gives an insight into another world of astonishing engineering feats. The Harbour Bridge was built without computers but with imagination, wooden slide- rules and the sweat and blood of skilled and daring workers. The views are as good as the much more expensive bridge climb.

One of the must-see icons of Sydney. Whilst driving across it 100’s of times provides a great view of Sydney and it’s surrounds, if you can view it on the harbour things really go to the next level. You simply can’t see Sydney properly, unless you’ve experienced the Harbour Bridge. Thoroughly recommended.

This amazing bridge that spans across Sydney harbor, one of the longest steel-arch bridges in the world. Travel on the bridge by car, train, bus or walk along or to the top, where Paul Hogan worked. If your around on New Year Eve watch the bridge light up the harbor with spectacular colors. Grab a bite to eat or drink in one of the many restaurants, cafes or bars along the harbors edge.

Some bridges have become iconic to some cities. Like when you see the Golden gate bridge you think of San Francisco, when you see the tower bridge you think of London, when you see the Brooklyn bridge you think of New York. Similarly when you see the harbor bridge you think of Sydney. This steel bridge is made of massive arches. They say that if you like the thrill, you can walk on that arches. We didn't have time for that. What makes Sydney harbor bridge spectacular is not only its massive arches but also the backdrop of Sydney's skyscrapers and the adjacent opera house and beautiful blue waters of Sydney harbor. Really beautiful.👌🏼👍🏻

An icon. A must for your photos. A nice frame for sunsets and you can even walk over it if you can spare the change. It's expensive and I'm told exhilarating. Walk across the bridge to North Sydney. You can visit the pylon museum for a fee. I haven't been but was told that it's worth the effort.
