Great hotel, we had a private room. It had everything we needed... The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was great. Bed comfortable, bathroom and room clean with a mini bar and water at an extra cost! I had my laundry done here. Since I have been travelling, I have not seen my clothes as white as I got them back, thankyou. Although I am travelling, I like to be clean and I checkout feeling refreshed and ready for my next venture. Truly amazing...

Good things first: the View was wonderful. And its a little bot outside of the City. The badside was that its really messy and dirty. We were here for 3 days and nights and we had construction works began at 7 am to 22 pm. Sitting at the breakfast with a construction worker hammering and sawing in a 5 Meter range doesnt give you a nice Holiday Feeling at all. There are two showers in total, one was broken from start to finish of our stay. Today we came from a Tour in the National Park and the water in the entire Bungalow complex was turned of. Nobody could say for how Long. English is a Thing as Well... Even when you Show the Stuff with your Finger in the menu what you wanna have,theres a Chance you get Something Else.. If we visit Cat Ba again we would Go somewhere Else, definatly.

We had a really enjoyable stay and were sad we had to leave cuz of the capacities. Best breakfast I’ve had in Vietnam and the symphony played during was exquisite!!!

Great place for the price! The room was quite big and good for Vietnamese standards, they cleaned everyday and although the breakfast wasn't huge it was decent and better than most we had previously. But the best of all was the young girl (I forgot to ask her name!) at the reception, she was super helpful and very lovely. They have tours at a great price and many services that come in handy (washing clothes, motorbike rental, etc) and made our time at Cat Ba really great. I'd definitely come back!
