This is the highest visited place in Manhattan. It was a pleasant experience that made it a memorable visit with my family. lights were replaced with oversize LCD screens, and they are brighter than ever. There are as many as 500,000 photos taken every year in this area alone. I really like being at Times Square and just watching time fly. I used to stay in Jersey city and TS was a must go place every weekend. There's lots of couples, families, friends, and photographers that were out late at night too. Times Square never fails to deliver. Times Square is big, bright and unforgettable. Walk to the top of its red steps. It was nice experience just sitting on the stairs and enjoy. I always used to spend 2 hours there and never felt a single moment of boring. It was a nice experience and must go place if you are planning to visit Manhattan.

It's impossible to get bored in Times Square NYC. I love looking at all the bright lights and advertisements, but there's also a lot of really cool shopping experiences and good food right in the area. Don't pass up taking time to hang around Times Square if you get the chance!

Amazing view. Lots of stored and food options around. Very very busy anytime of the year (hot or cold). Always feels like the first time every time I visit Trains are the best for your commute to avoid outrageous cab fares when you spend half the time in traffic

The only reason I've giving Times Square a 5* rating is due to how iconic it is for NYC and how starstruck anyone not from NYC will be when first entering the area. Is it pretty? Sure. Is it great for pictures? Probably. Will you remember your visit? Definitely. Will you want to ever go back? No. After all that glam and whatnot has faded away you will quickly realize that there really isn't anything special about the place. I've taken numerous people from other countries here and they are always amazed when entering. After a hour or so however they've all to a man wanted to get away from all the giant crowds and noise. So take your pictures, revel in the fact that you've visited Times Square and then quickly make your exit. There are plenty of other places in NYC that are worth visiting!
