Beautiful theater And the selections are very good. We just saw The Cave and is definitely a movie I recommend all to see.
I love this place. They had delicious and freshly prepared food and served on time. The staff was very friendly and polite. Their prices were fair.
Went to see a screening of Wu-Tang of "Mics and Men". Awesome venue, very intimate atmosphere, great staff, amazing reception. I would definitely recommend this place if you ever want to host a private event. You'll get first class service for sure.
Beautiful space with niche old school films and a chill place to have a good drink upstairs.
Coolest theatre in NYC. Staff right out of Whit Stillman's "Metropolitan" in appearance, but with *far* better attitude. Interesting/funky variety of selections in the actual commissary section, including homemade popcorn with sea salt and olive oil and Violet Crumble and *real* chocolate bars and Acqua Panna and Jarritos. There's a small bar downstairs right nearby, where food can be purchased. The seats seem to be made from reclaimed oak barrels ( ?), comfortably upholstered in velvet, with odd thrift/vintage shop find chairs interspersed. Makes for a quirkily comfy date night. Upstairs is usually done up for a reception following a private studio screening (at least, it always has been when I've come here), and it is trés chic. Great food, terrific service, and a full bar. Restrooms are always clean, comfortable and fully stocked. Come see a film here. Stop in nearby Chinatown for dumplings beforehand or afterward because... well, why not? You'll love it.
