Great park to bring your family. Different areas have sandy or rocky beach. There's the bath house & Marina near by is interesting to check out. Plenty of space to walk along the beach. Excellent kids playground area with swings, climbing nets and pirate ship. Looks like there are areas to have a fire if you want to as well.

This is a very nice park. Has a great long place to walk on the sand and enjoy a great view. Very clean and not too bad parking. Bathrooms were tolerable and not too much trash on the beach, though there is some ash leftover from fires in the sand.

This is a very nice park. It is long and narrow shape to maximize waterfront space. Gentle sandy beach for easy swimming or wading. Volleyball and kites are popular here. Also beach fires are allowed in designated spots. The little known fact is this sand was all imported (about) 60 years ago from California by barge. There are also freshwater ponds with fish, frogs and turtles down at the North end of park. There are BBQ's for use. Playgrounds for kids as well as concession stand. Also reasonable bathrooms centrally located in the park. Nice amount of walking trail through the park. This park is quite level parking and whole park is very easy access. BEAUTIFUL sunset views of Olympic mountains and across Puget sound!

Golden Gardens is a scenic, quiet spot to stroll along the water and take in the beautiful surroundings. My toddler daughter LOVED running along the beach (a novelty to a resident of a landlocked state) and even rolling around in the sand. You can't help but feel anything other relaxed and happy here - the environment doesn't allow for anything else! Parking can be dicey, but otherwise this is a terrific park. Very nice beach, lots of areas to sit, a cute café. On a nice day it is beautiful but I'm guessing it would be a fun beach walk even in weather that is overcast or even stormy.

Golden Gardens is a scenic, quiet spot to stroll along the water and take in the beautiful surroundings. You can't help but feel anything other relaxed and happy here - the environment doesn't allow for anything else! We have been here a few times but it usually too cold to sit and swim. This time the weather was perfect! not too crowded which was nice.
