A beautifully adorned place that is in walkable distances from multiple angles. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable but unfortunately the cupcakes are not to the standard of the staff or the place itself. First off, the cupcakes to me tasted bland and had no moisture but on a sweet note, the buttercream frosting on the cupcakes are good. I had their cupcakes twice for I am optimistic and twice the cupcakes disappointed me greatly. I would say you are better off saving the money spent here and go bake yourself cupcakes, for I can guarantee that the outcome would be better.

I paid $135 for 4 6packs cupcakes and two containers of coffee for a birthday party, ordered 24 hours in advance for Sunday morning pickup. I was asked when the earliest I would arrive and I said 9am. My dad showed up to pick them up and was told that although they are prepared he has to stand in line at the end of a long line in order to pick up the order. They were prepaid and the coffee was cold.

I'm not a cupcake guy, but if I were, I wouldn't go anywhere but here. It's on a convenient corner, and is the epitome of a local cupcake shop - where you can stop in and get some coffee and read The Stranger while navigating a superly-frosted cake of colorful goodness. Great place for exhausted Mom (or Dad) to bring the kids for cupcakes while enjoying a coffee breather.

I usually find that cupcake shops serve dry, over frosted cupcakes that are nothing but sugar bombs. Cupcake Royale is the exception! Everything tastes homemade and their buy 3 get 3 deal during the afternoon is an awesome deal!
