Made a reservation and was quickly seated. The host and staff were extremely personable and detailed in their explanation of all of our meals. The food was amazing! I highly recommend the Paella but the flavors in all the dishes were very rich and delicious. Definitely recommend to non-vegans and vegans alike!

Food was unbelievably good, easy to share, and reasonably priced. The wine selection was great and we really enjoyed sitting "in the kitchen" and watching the magic happen. Atmosphere is great and service was top notch! Their carbonara was out of this world, and the smoked tomatoes on our "Caesar" salad were drool worthy! We will not hesitate to come back and will definitely bring our friends!

We went with a party of four and they recommended we get seven to nine dishes. We ordered two toasts, three hot dishes, and two salads. Each plate arrived as it was ready and was prepared to perfection. We didn’t regret a single item, though of them all the home made spaghetti stood out as something we must get again. We are rearranging some trip plans to make sure we can eat here one more time and plan to get every other menu item to try as well as the spaghetti. Couldn’t give a stronger recommendation for a dining experience.

Avant Garden is my favourite restaurant in New York. The food was interesting. Who would have thought you could do so much with toast! Service was great. Casual and relaxed, but somehow still sophisticated.

Cannot say enough about this place! My meal was INCREDIBLE and our waiter went above and beyond to deliver the best dining experience I've had in a long time. Food comes out as it's prepared and the chef of each dish brings it to your table and explains the fine nuances to you. Some of the best and most unique creations I have had in my life, and I've eaten a lot of meals let me tell you! Truly exceptional!
