Lovely large space slightly away from the much more populated Southbank Centre Festival Hall area.We saw Kiss my Gender, which was is a very interesting exhibition about Gender and all its forms. Well worth seeing. My friend and I had the cheese plate and the veggie plate, and both were really good (loved the lightly pickled auberbine cubes) - the cheese plate was so good that we ordered a second one.
The concrete exterior and courtyard? uncompromising here; only rotating temporary exhibitions can survive the unrelenting Sexties Brutality. A world-renowned trendsetting gallery showcasing mostly contemporary art, encompassing its multi-disciplines, kith and kin and kissing cousins. With a finger on the pulse ......... and on the trigger. It’s a happening thing here.

Went to see the kiss my genders exhibition yesterday and it was hands down my favourite exhibition I believe I’ve ever been to. It could’ve been twice the size and I would’ve enjoyed it twice as much. So satisfied.
Conveniently nestled between the Waterloo Bridge & the Southbank of the River Thames, the Hayward Gallery is home to a variety of unique and intellectually stimulating exhibitions. I saw the DRAG: Self-portraits and Body Politics assemblage and was moved by the various pieces, especially each artist's ability to convey a multitude of emotions across a wide range of mediums. Each piece told a remarkable story on its own, while the collection as a whole represented a narrative of unity and resonated with me far greater than any single work.
