What a great experience. All the staff were wonderful with the kids (4 & 8), and just as nice to us! Parking was easy. Everything seems to be easy to find and the Victorian exhibition is great. Nothing is particularly over priced, in fact most things were cheaper than I'd expect. Brilliant!
Nice amusement park. Lots of “small” rides and a number of larger thrills. Sky Force and Thunderbolt are real exiting thrills. Not for the faint hearted. Operators at the roller coaster looked like they had a lot of fun entertaining the people while getting in and out of the cars. Enough rides to spend a day. No long queues.
Very enjoyable. I don't particularly like most rides, as I'm big I don't feel comfortable on some of them. But I had a very good time here I rode the hornet ( rollercoaster) 4 times the log flume 3 times the tug boat thing once and the space race once. The good was moderately priced and the Jurassic Express was nice although would have been nice to have more interaction. The Victorian village was fun and interesting especially with the mystery trail . The Britain in the blitz was educational and interesting too.
I really wanted to like it, despite the negative reviews on Trip Adviser. I thought it would be OK. However, I can't remember the last time I felt so bitter about spending £70! The park is a glorified funfair, I can't wrap my head around how they can justify charging so much money. The whole place is very outdated, the rides are a joke. The carousel squeaked so loudly you couldn't actually hear the music! The space thrill ride was almost laughable. The kids had a good time, because they love fairground rides, but us parents were left feeling pretty peed off. The cafes were awful, cheap frozen sausages for the sausage bap, bland pastries, over priced coffee, even the chips weren't great. Another thing that annoyed me was the card reader being down, and they told me I had to draw cash out to pay, only to find the cash machine charged £2.50! You'd think, in a Theme Park where they want you to spend your money they at least wouldn't charge to do so! There are so many awesome things to see and do in Cornwall, I really would recommend saving your money and doing something else! They either need to drastically reduce the price, or pump some of the money made on admissions into bringing the park in line with other theme parks!
Great fun for children not so much for grannies and we didn't visit the village. Bought the family ticket but should have researched the prices a bit more as it would have been cheaper to buy individual tickets. It is also cheaper to book on!one as long as you do it 24 hours in advance 😏
