A Day Hike

A day hike in Pokhara offers panoramic mountain views of the Annapurna range, a rich insight into the history, culture and religion of the locals, as well as some very picturesque views.

Subash:A half day World Peace Stupa hiking from Pokhara is both fun and easy. During the hike, you will explore a Japanese Temple called the White World Peace Stupa. It's situated on the top of a hill, from where you can enjoy the Mt. Annapurna ranges, a view of Fewa Lake as well as the whole Pokhara valley. The trip begins and ends from Lakeside Pokhara.

Subash:Kahun Danda (or Kahu Deaurali) is a newly opened touristic destination and a wonderful place to experience the sunrise and the mountain view. It's just a 45 minutes drive from Pokhara.

Subash:Mahendra Gupha is another major natural attraction that can be reached after a two-hour walk north of Pokhara. The cave is known as the "House of Bats" since a large number of bats live within its walls.

Subash:David’s Fall is a charming little waterfall located about 2 km south-west of the Pokhara airport on the Siddhartha Highway. Its source is the water from the Phewa Lake. David’s Fall is associated with a mysterious legend, that's also part of its appeal. Close to the fall there's Gupteswar Gupha, a mysteriously sacred cave.

Subash:The larger counterpart of the twin Begnas and Rupa tal. Spread across an area of 49 kilometres, Begnas Lake is the second largest lake in Pokhara after the Phewa tal. Located in the Kaski district, Begnas is a freshwater lake, rarely overcrowded with tourists, which makes it so much better and cleaner than other lakes in Pokhara.
