Add a little hoppy, frothy goodness to your stay, join us in keeping Wellington's proud brewing heritage alive. The Wellington Craft Brewery Tour takes guests on a journey through the local thriving craft beer scene to taste beers using tasting paddles, taps and trays.
Visit four of Wellington and the Hutt Valley’s best craft breweries with tastings at each location. Tour includes an in depth brewery tour led by brewery staff. Enjoy a range of locally made craft beers at each location and share in the passion these producers have for their products.
First up you're heading to Beertown in Upper Hutt, to Kereru, a small, independently owned and family operated award-winning brewery that is incredibly passionate about making good beer and following sustainable practices. Have a taster of the beers on tap, some of which include ingredients unique to New Zealand.
The next stop is Boneface Brewery. Owners, Matt and Selena, developed the Boneface craft beer brand from a love of all things beer and sci-fi. Beautifully designed, their brand and beers cleverly incorporate Planet Hoptron: the Planet of Hops. Sample a tasting tray of the beers, as well as a behind the scenes staff-led tour of the brewery.
Your next encounter takes you Baylands Brewery for a tasting of their tap beers and a look through their extensive range of home brewing supplies.
The final tasting stop is at Tuatara Temple of Taste – The Third Eye, where you will enjoy a shared tasting paddle of your choice in the Tuatara small batch brewery in Wellington city centre.
Tour includes local guide, transportation and all entry/tasting fees
