My favorite little restaurant in Christchurch. Enjoyed dinner there so much, had to go back for an encore and loved it just as much. Small menu that is focused on fresh local produce. Found the dishes flavourful and properly seasoned, the proteins are always cooked to the correct temperatures. Loved the venison especially. The service was amazing, friendly and attentive but at the same time leave you enough space to really relax and enjoy.

Very good food at a very decent price. Had the risotto for starters which was rich and creamy and the beef fillet for mains....the beef was so tender and juicy....got the middle rare spot on. I also have to add that the portion here is very generous. Definitely a very enjoyable meal.

Best lamb I've ever had. Hands down. Must visit if you are in Christchurch! This place offers one of the best, if not the best, lamb and venison in town. I knew before coming that this place is popular but didn't know their food would be this good. It is of course an expensive place to eat but you really get what you paid for. Super tender lamb and venison. We arrived at 7pm and the seats on the second floor were already full so we had to sit on the first floor. Thus the atmosphere for us was so-so but it's nothing compared to the food. So better book a table first! Waiting time for the food was about 30 mins. Would definitely come again if we have a chance to visit Christchurch.
