Via Galileo Galilei, 24, 70043 Monopoli BA, Italy
One of the prettiest beach in Monopoli. It is mostly sandy with few trees; enclosed by rocky shores. The water here is clear and there's no seaweed. It's popular, so you can expect quite a crowd even after high season.
Beach was very busy and dirty with rubbish. Lots of seaweed. Walked 5 min down the road to Porto Verde which is harder to access but very beautiful
During our visit the beach was dirty. A lot of litter in the sand - cigarrets, paper.. There was also a lot of dirt from trees in the water. We stayed in the beginning of July 2019. The beach is free of charge. There is payed or free parking around. There are no showers on the beach.
Great place, but not so clean
A narrow beach, usually packed at summertime. Full of algae unfortunately
