I've been here many times and have had a great time each visit. During the day there are many shops and restaurants to enjoy at night this place comes alive with the carnival ride, the music and the people walking around. Most of it is touristy but I think the ambience is still very nice especially on a nice temperate day. This is a great place for a couple or family. Not really exciting enough for singles!

There is very little here, but it still gets 5stars. Street musicians, a carousel, excellent places to eat and drink and to let the time pass slowly. Wonderful and relaxing.

Most happening place in Florence. Music and tourists till late night. Must hangout place great food near by

Love coming to Piazza della Repubblica. Come at night to see the carousel lit up and the street performers singing and playing music. Come during the day to take in the arch and have a cappuccino on the piazza or at Gilli Cafe on the corner. A lovely stop in Florence day or night!

Lots of restaurants and stands to buy gifts. Or souvenirs. The merry go round had some broken seats. But it was still a very lively and pretty place to stop and take pics.
