Padang Padang Beach, Pecatu, South Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali, Indonesia
The tide pools are the best part of this beach. There is so much life in them! Crouch down and sit still and watch as things start moving. What your thought were rocks are an eclectic mix of crabs. Fish will start to swim around. Of course, the sunset is amazing. Steep walk down and up but well worth it and not too tough if you’re in shape.
What a great beach! Worth the day trip from Seminyak. Best to get there by 10:30am as it was filling up rapidly (on a Tuesday). 15k entrance fee for adults, 10k for kids over 3. Plenty of people selling food and drink on the beach etc. Pretty steep stairs to get up and down, so not a good one for anyone mobility impaired. A hidden treasure! Although not that hidden anymore...
Beautiful beach on the southern tip of Bali. It was a 30-40 min drive or so from Jimbaran, so if you are in that area I would definitely try to visit Padang Padang beach. It was a bit crowded when we were there in the afternoon in early May. They have people selling food/drinks there too so it was nice to sip on a coconut while enjoying the beach.
It was quite late and getting dark when we visited this beach. From the main road we need to walk down the steps to the beach. One spot in the steps where there is a overhead bridge. Very scenic beach and rocky at one end where we did a small trek and good place to take some great photos. Worth visiting and a place to chill with some beers
I would not recommend this beach. Really crowded. The toilets were really dirty. There are so many other nice beaches in Bali, pls ask for another recommendation when your driver or guide wants to take you here. After seeing the Photos we thought its so beautiful but i guess there is nothing that photo filters can’t make beautiful.
