A beautiful and relaxing island escape. The locals are very nice and accommodating to tourists. Getting to/from the island was a little tiring — the boat ride was very choppy and we had to walk over painful coral for about 300 yards because the tide was low and the boat couldn’t get closer. There are plenty of good places to eat and nice sunset spots. Overall it’s a very chill vibe. There aren’t many developed streets, but there’s a lot of construction happening, so changes are coming! We went scuba diving, Which was very nice (we had never done it before). I would recommend it, but probably wouldn’t return.

We stayed for 3 days but could have easily extended. We didn't get to see much of the island as we spent most of our time diving (which I highly recommend. Some cool stuff to see here) so next time I would definitely take some time to explore a bit more. We went kayaking in the mangrove forest which I can only recommend. Loved the whole atmosphere of the island- just a quiet place to relax and be happy and eat nice food. Everybody we met was friendly and helpful and while prices on the island seemed a bit more than on the mainland it didn't make much of a difference. Pretty sure that one day we will be back.

Nusa Lembongan is perfect for a couple of days away from it all. A very great place that makes you feel relax, just enjoy the clean sand and the gorgeous blue water.
