Húsavík is a wonderful small town sometimes referred to as the whale-watching capital of Iceland. In this tour we learn about the culture and history of the area, explore the whale museum and enjoy the scenic views.
At Husavik bay, we visit a black sand beach and learn about the coastline culture.
Free time is provided during lunchtime where guests can either enjoy a seafood lunch at one of the Husavík restaurants or walk around the town's harbor and center. After lunch, we visit Husavík local microbrewery for a taste of the latest Husavik beer.
At the end of the tour, there is an included entrance for the Husavik Geosea thermal baths. The infinity style pools are made with naturally heated seawater from the bedrock toughly a once in a lifetime experience.
